Let your children help clear some of the scrap material they can find at
home with you.
Items created by you or your children can be given
out as gifts or sold at the workshop. Let your children learn to earn their own pocket
money by helping them to sell their creations.

for a school or association who is willing to support this workshop
programme by allowing you to use their venues rent free or at low rate.

Then
consider charging course fee to include a RM20 voucher redeemable for
food and other products.

Attract crowd by allowing
homemakers or
single parents to sell their food or handicrafts at the same venue.

I have heard my
mother said it and now that I have a family of my own, I am saying the
same thing too, "It is getting more and more costly to raise a
family".
Let your children's creativity develop as they learn to make something out
of material that would otherwise be discarded. This way, you can cut
down the cost of your children's need to meet obligations and to be a part of their peers.
No more asking Daddy and Mummy for money to buy birthday or Teachers' Day
gifts. Their motto will be "We Can Make Our Own".
